HOUSE MANAGER
Position Summary
​
House Manager reports to Case Managers and Operations Managers about all matters concerning client needs and issues. House Managers shall refer to and comply with the CVP Policy and Procedure Manual in every part of their job.

Responsibilities

Attend to all client needs that may arise during shift;

Complete Intakes on new clients and children;

Monitor client activities and shelter operations during shift;
-
Conduct room inspections and inventories;
-
Provide approved transportation to clients;
-
Enforce Shelter Guidelines found in Client Handbook;
-
Communicate with and support On-Call staff regarding client needs, problems, and occurrences;
-
Answer crisis calls and follow the established procedures for intakes and referrals as needed;

Complete mandatory documentation such as Shift Reports, Crisis Call Log, Monthly Time Activity Reports, and Material Requisition Forms;
-
Conduct life-skill activities and other group activities as directed;
-
Document and inform Operations Manager of all grievances or incidents that occur during shift;

Maintain client confidentiality in all forms of communication;
-
Follow directives of Operations Manager and Executive Director.

Adhere to all Policies and Procedures established by CVP;
-
Other duties as assigned.
Required Background
-
Possess a High School Diploma or GED and have at least 5 years work experience
-
Possess good organization, written, and oral communication skills.
-
Pass a criminal background check.

Possess a valid Mississippi Driver’s License and have a clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Understands the dynamics of trauma-informed care and has the ability to identify and respond to victims of violence;

Demonstrates the ability to exercise and model healthy boundaries with clients and others;

Maintains professional working relationships with staff and program stakeholders;

Possesses strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills;

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
-
Ability to operate a computer, multi-line phone, and other office equipment.

-Part time $13.00/hr
