Sexual Violence Program

How WE help victims

The term "sexual violence" is an all-encompassing, non-legal term that refers to crimes like sexual assault, rape, and sexual abuse. (From RAINN)

We provide advocacy during the forensic medical exam if you choose to seek medical attention. We then can provide case management, therapy services, legal and court advocacy. Make sure you understand your rights and that includes if you have to report the assault to police.

If you have questions please call 601-326-5035 for further information.

We also offer a chatroom that is available daily for victims to anonymously ask questions and get information. All services are free of charge and confidential.

Join the HelpRoom

We've partnered with RAINN to offer a HelpRoom, which is an anonymous online group chat option that allows members of the community who have been affected by sexual violence to connect with one another.

Trained staff will facilitate group discussions to ensure a safe environment for all visitors to discuss topics and experiences related to sexual violence.
